The South Downs National Park Authority has identified a need for additional visitor accommodation. The Greenway Park hotel and cycling centre – located at the foot of the Queen Elizabeth Country Park, at the junction of the A3 and Greenway Lane – hopes to give visitors the opportunity to experience overnight stays in the area, boosting the local tourism economy and creating a range of jobs.
The plans are set to deliver a major boost to biodiversity at the site – delivering an improvement of 58% – and will also include onsite renewable energy generation, as well as EV charging points.
Greenway Park has been subject to extensive consultation – including discussions with the local community, Buriton Parish Council, Petersfield Town Council, British Cycling, Sustrans, SDNPA, National Highways and many others.
Following extensive engagement with key stakeholders and a public consultation exercise carried out in March 2023, a planning application was submitted to SDNPA in October 2023.
We hope you enjoy learning more about our plans through this website, and if you have any questions please don’t hesitate to contact the project team using the details provided.
